Helen's dancers are both ethnic and traditional. She captures the spirit of ballet with its extended tendues and grand battements and then bursts into a jungle rhythm all its own in Trio #1 and Trio #2.
Dance of fire is reminsicent of Matisse's great work, though using a totally different palette and rhythm.
